Italial Crucible
Ultra-high temperature application "Yttria Crucible"
Due to its high chemical stability at high temperatures and excellent corrosion resistance to specific molten salts and oxides, it is used for the melting, crystal growth, and heat treatment of special materials. Commonly mentioned characteristics... Heat resistance: The melting point is about 2400°C. In practical use, it can be stably used at around 2000°C in air or inert atmospheres. Chemical stability: Excellent corrosion resistance to fluoride-based molten salts and crystals (such as CaF2, BaF2, and LiF). Relatively stable against many oxides as well. Low contamination: High purity can be achieved, with minimal contamination from crucible-derived impurities. Atmospheric suitability: Stable in oxidizing to inert atmospheres.
